XBOX, why? Why did you do this?

What the heck happened with the Xbox One (X)? I know this isn’t a fresh out of box console and it takes some getting used to new interfaces, but this is ridiculous. The system was worryingly slow from cold boot, and I couldn’t log-in. Sure I was unsure of my password, but I went and reset it. Even slowly making sure all the inputs were making it in, it was not working. Earlier, it was running the onscreen keyboard horribly and making double and triple inputs. MS added a link to console button for logging in on a browser and punching in a code. Like a streaming app for a set-top box. Once that was done, I still couldn’t find the games my account owned. Eventually I got to the right library view after 15 min of googling and actually still not initially seeing it. 

After messing with menus that re-ignited my desire to return to blades dashboard I booted up Panzer Dragoon Orta. And got my ass handed to me. At the first boss. I had forgotten how the stuff worked and how hard it is. Really wish I remembered some way to copy my original xbox save over somehow. I’ll get the hang of it again, but it reminded me why I ended up trying other games in the series. You just get shot less. I forgot how picky the game could be about dragon position and dodging. Hitbox feel big. Maybe once I get my saturn plugged in again, I’ll warm up with original and Zwei and get back to orta.

But, no… seriously. What’s with that UI?
